As a Houston based Economist and Consultant for , Steve Ganns heads the strategic advisory services to public pension funds and government entities offered to clients. He has over 30 years of real estate experience in the acquisition, management, restructure/workout and financing arenas. During his career, Mr. Ganns has been involved in numerous projects on behalf of partnerships, attorneys and clients.
Mr. Ganns is a founding principal of G-3 Advisors, a consulting and strategic relations firm. His forte is strategic advice for clients in a host of industries and identifying and matching correct firms for strategic alliances.
Mr. Ganns leads affliations/relationships with financial leaders and academic institutions including the Federal Reserve, James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy at Rice University, the Group of Thirty, and the U.S. Senate. Recently, Mr. Ganns has chaired quarterly panels for the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve regarding the outlook for commercial real estate. Mr. Ganns attended the Group of Thirty’s annual International Banking Seminar during the 2009 International Monetery Fund – World Bank annual meeting in Istanbul, Turkey and their International Banking Seminar in Washington D.C. in 2010. Mr. Ganns coordinated an event for the James A Baker III Institute for Public Policy and the Jesse H Jones Graduate School of Business Speaker Series on “Financial Reform: A Lost Opportunity to Strengthen American Capitalism?” with Stuart P.M. Mackintosh, Executive Director, Group of Thirty.
